Hydretain Coverage Rates: Lawns: One quart of Hydretain treats between 2500 to 5000 square feet of lawn, depending on required watering reduction and severity of drought conditions. Indoor or Outdoor or Flowers, Shrubs, Trees and Vegetable Gardens: Best results are achieved by thoroughly saturating soil or planting media surrounding the root system of individual plants. (Example: One quart of Hydretain treats up to 250 individual plants in six inch containers. Coverage will vary with plant size, root mass and water holding volume of planting media.) Each Hydretain application provides soil moisture management for up to 3 months.
